Mr. Aiello has over two decades of wealth management experience, during which he has acquired extensive knowledge in relationship building, market performance, and helping families create and maintain wealth. A Baltimore native and father of three, Marcus is the son of an Italian immigrant whose family came to America seeking a better life and greater financial freedom. The son of a dentist and high school math teacher, he learned the value of a strong work ethic and establishing goals. By the time that he was a young adult, Mr. Aiello knew he had a propensity for numbers just like his father, but more importantly, he began to take a strong interest in financial markets and economies.

Marcus began his career in finance in 1993 when he became an analyst for Viacom, later moving to New York as the northeast director of finance for Blockbuster Entertainment. Ultimately, he and his family moved back to Baltimore where he joined Alex. Brown in 2000. Since then, he has devoted his career to wealth management and his practice in various senior leadership roles including COO as well as client advisor. During his time at Alex. Brown, he has a developed an extensive skillset in financial planning and investment management. Marcus is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®). He holds a series 7, 9, 10 and 66 as well as a Maryland Life and Variable Annuity license. Moreover, he has experience investing through ever changing market conditions with a thorough understanding of client financial goals and objectives carefully set by the client with careful and thoughtful experienced support of he and his team.

Marcus is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. In his free time, Marcus loves spending time with his wife and three children and is actively engaged in giving back to his community in Howard County where he grew up. He serves on the Board of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council and has previously worked with several other community-based charitable organizations, including Stocks in The Future and the Casey Cares Foundation.
