John’s practice strategically encompasses all aspects of his relationships. His approach as a strategic wealth advisor lends itself to working with sophisticated, long term focused individuals, families, selective nonprofits and institutions. John believes that what he does is important because it is important to his clients. John’s raison d’etre is to improve the lives and well-being of our clients, their families and their communities. His approach is grounded in investment management, asset allocation and risk recognition. He understands the unique dynamics of preserving and growing wealth. He employs disciplined strategies and diversified portfolios designed to preserve and grow clients’ wealth. John believes that success is defined by the long-term relationships he has built fostering trust, transparency and the belief that clients come first in everything — all the time, every time. He has found even deeper meaning and purpose in relationships by employing a strategic approach in all aspects of his clients’ lives, their families and their legacy.

John has been with Alex. Brown Raymond James for three decades as a Director and Client Advisor. He believes His most important role is as acting with a Fiduciary standard of care and serving as a Trusted Advisor for his clients.

John has earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Loyola University Maryland. John holds the series 7, 63 and 65 licenses and additionally holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation, representing advanced comprehension and knowledge.

John has long been an active member within the community. Because John has a son with special needs, he realizes the importance of building up people and communities. John has served with an extensive number of academic, nonprofit and eleemosynary organizations at the board level and has held senior leadership positions in those organizations.

John and his wife Mary live in the Baltimore, Maryland area. John has three adult children who live in various parts of the country.
